INI Editor V2 (currently: pre-alpha)
Description
INI Editor V2 is an effective, easy to use and powerful program to help you edit the INIs in TS/RA2. I used some ideas from Delphi's IDE, TopStyle Lite/Dreamweaver and other programs.
Features:
- A powerful search-and-replace feature.
- Code highlighting.
- Section tree, listing all items in a logical order (takes about 2-3 seconds, a perfectly acceptable delay).
- Object Inspector (review/edit any object visually)
- Tag Filter (lists all sections which include the requested tag, and inserts the edited code back into the file [all you write in this box will be reinserted flawlessly] ).
- Code completion (the program can suggest possible values for tags such as Category=, BuildCat= , etc. )
- Code templates (for example, if you type "newinf" and hit Ctrl-J, a new blank infantry section will be inserted so you don't have to copy-paste everything). They are fully user customizable.
- Ctrl-clicking on a word jumps to [word], if it exists.
