It's a 3ds2vxl of a model you didn't make, what's to comment on?
-Delete Rigging.
-Reapply Material.
-Export to .3ds.
-Run 3ds2vxl.
And it's too big really.

I've converted this model in the past myself and I'm pretty sure there was nothing to fix.
I'm also under the impression that someone released a Renegade 2 pack (it might even have been me).

Umm maybe the uvw you did didn't work for gmax if it's that pack. And I'm not lamming the models just voxelized as stated in txt file. If you just feel agraviated then I can say made from the renegade 2 voxel pack `fixed' by daz. Also did you fixed and released the prerelease package of renegade?
Just take things calm down.

I tought that the renegade assets where released by westwood/ea as gmax files with textures. There are any renegade 2 packages already converted?

None of the Renegade 2 models were converted and released publicly afaik. I have a Kirov I used for 1.5(Daz taught me how to do the conversion), but I am not going to release it.
Too bad, IMO. I'm suprised nobody converted the beta renegade models, which look more like the TD units. =S

I've got the Renegade 2 models on my PC, the Rhino and Grizzly have textures applied (and are mapped correctly, or there wouldn't be much point in applying textures).
You obviously think you've done something wrong or you wouldn't have removed the downloads.
You're the one that's made this into an issue, all I've commented on is that you're asking for comments on something you had no hand in making.
I've just had a look around and Carno is quite right that they don't seem to have been released as voxels (I found a thread where I'd converted them and posted pics, but not the downloads).
There seems to be a few people lately posting both models for C&C3 and voxels for RA2 who're converting models from other games and not mentioning this fact in their posts (one even claimed they were his own at first before someone named the game they were from) - hence me being somewhat tetchy on the issue.

Not because i did something bad, just i was being flamed. You were telling i was using your mesh pack, I didn't. I converted them from gmax as they were released by westwood pack.
The reason I erased the post was to not allow download until things got clear.
That's why I'm not going to put any vxl or any other material, goodbye C&C.
Surely you can do something better but as a matter of fact you haven't been friendly on the matter.

you are not supposed to have to fix anything; 3ds2vxl is supposed to finish the whole job by itself. if it doesn't then shame on you for not telling me so that i can fix this bug so other people don't have to suffer also.

I said you're asking for comments on something you didn't make. If someone commented on the unit then they'd be commenting on Westwood's unit.

This voxel has nothing at all to do with renegade 2. I happen to have the same voxel as well as the whole collection as alqui. It was out of a long dead mod called something 2021. Some sort of post apocalyptic mod. I have refound it on my hard drive after deeply searching my voxel archive.

Btw, Dregan, you mean Cataclysm 2021, where a model quite similar to this one was created by spidey (can be seen at http://mods.moddb.com/gallery/image/10982/ ). That's proof enough for me, and I'm going to blacklist him.
